Questions and Answers regarding the tower

We have been waiting, how much longer?

Building a communications tower has internal and external requirements, i.e. there is much more to it than simply ordering equipment and the tower and throwing it all up. The FCC has its requirements, the FAA weighs in due to danger to aircraft, local zoning and planning departments must be consulted. The site plans and engineering plans must be generated and approved before we can even start digging the hole. Involvement of external personnel includes involving all of their own internal timeframes and most of the time they do not match up with our desired deployment timeframes. Due to the massive amount of trees we are workign against, an improperly planned tower could result in lack of coverage for example. Building a tower from scratch is an expensive and time consuming endeavour, SyncWave is very well known for performance and stability, we must ensure this tower will deliver as there is no taking it back or changing it when it is built.

I can see the tower, am I serviceable?

You have an excellent chance of getting internet service, line of sight installs are almost always guaranteed great signal. If you do not have direct line of site to the tower, chances are you can still get service. We perform free site surveys for all interested customers, please fill out the following form and a representative will contact you shortly.

What if I am close but cannot see the tower?

We use frequencies designed for use in LOS (Line of Site), nLOS (Near Line of Sight) and NLOS (Non-Line of Sight) environments, some of our equipment is designed to penetrate trees, foliage and various types of substrate. Additionally, we have several powerful receiver options at our disposal as well as a myriad of ways the equipment can be mounted. If there is a way, we will spare no means to find and utilize it.
